Amber and Matt's Wedding Photos - Forest House Lodge

Amber and Matt's Wedding was at the beautiful lodge nestled in the foothills of Foresthill CA.
If you are looking for a beautiful wedding in the forest but don't want to have to rent a campground or deal with permits this is the place for you.
The beautiful lodge has been remodeled and has the most amazing groom's room as well as brides room I have seen. On top of their amazing lodge I felt like I stepped into a dream when I went to the ceremony site. I feel like I could spend all day there taking photos. The ceremony site overlooks the valley and the smell of pine makes you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. Amber and Matt had a very simple elegant theme of which I felt was perfect for this beautiful place.
They used rocks with their guests names written on them as place settings, their centerpieces where simple but perfect. They where tree branches with crystals and butterflies on them. They used small frames with photos from their engagement session as their party favor. The cake (vendor unknown) was beautiful! It was a three tier cake with butterflies on it. To top it all off the food was AMAZING! That is what sold me most on this amazing place. They don't just cater, they have a chef that put together the most amazing feast. The table we where sitting at had some vegan guests and they had a pollenta dish they raved about.

Beautiful flowers for a fall wedding, the bride put a broach with a photo of her grandmother so that she could have a special part in the wedding.

Bridesmaids bouquets. A unique yet striking combination of fall flowers to make a nice touch to the wedding,

The sitting area is perfect for a elegant place for the bride to get dressed.

The Guests head off to the ceremony site and the bride follows...

The groom and his parents...
Proud dad walking his daughter down the isle...

Can you beat this setting!

It makes me tear up when the father of the groom does... :)

Sun was going down fast, so we stopped on the side of the road to take these photos, this is the road from the ceremony site to the reception site.

These photos where taken outside the lodge. I had to edit out the many power poles and street signs but wow!

LOVE the butterfly theme! (Vendor unknown)

In the bar they supply some many amazing hats to play with. These are the groomsmen enjoying a little drink with a retro feel.
My favorite part of the night. The bride lead her guests with the 'Thriller" dance. It was a blast to watch and she was amazing at it!!!
