Shannon & Tim's Wedding - 5/16/2009 - The Sequoia House, Placerville CA

Shannon and Tim's Wedding was originally supposed to be in Tahoe but they moved the date and picked the beautiful Sequoia House in Placerville CA. The weather topped 100 degrees in the valley and got up into the 90's in Placerville. Looking at the photos you can barely tell the weather was hot. Shannon was stunning in her dress and Tim rocked it!
Tawnia at the Sequoia House was amazing, she ran a tight ship while being accommodating and very pleasant to work with. I was a little worried with the weather that the stunning ballroom was going to be hot but it was very well cooled and a nice break from the weather. The food was amazing and the staff very pleasant.

Flowers where stunning and held up amazingly with the heat. Camino Flower Shop was prompt and did an amazing job!

I was a little worried about taking the bridal party to the cemetary across the street, but this couple was flexible and when the mother of the bride came out and asked if we where going over there, I thought 'why not!' The lighting was beautiful with the nice trees and it made a great spot for photos.

This shot was my 'money shot' for the day. Tim and Shannon's son and the head stones in the background added to the impact.

The mother and father walked Shannon down the isle.
After Shannon walked down the isle, their son was welcomed to the wedding with the low rider song. Being so young he did an amazing job getting down the isle by himself.

At ceremony time it was 97 degrees at least, poor Shannon had her face in the sun. Hwy 50 was closed due to an accident so the ceremony started a little later than expected.
