Rene and J.P.'s Wedding - Sogno Winery, Shingle Springs CA

Rene and J.P's wedding on September 7, 2008 at Sogno Winery in Shingle Springs. The day began as Rene arrived and got ready in the Carriage House. Her girls where so much fun and took such good care of her. Rene' did boudoir photos with us earlier in the year and gave the mini album to J.P. as a gift right before the wedding. We where able to be there when he opened it and you could not wipe the smile off his face.
Once Rene' was finished getting ready we took her outside to do photos of her and her and her girls. Her girls where wonderful her maid of honor was on the ball helping her out. We got the girls inside and took the guys out. Rene's father was a kick in the pants having fun with the guys in his great hat. The guys where interested in the games since it was opening day of football but considering where pretty focused. :)
Their ceremony was beautiful, performed by her sister it had that personal touch that always is nice to see. J.P. got teary eyed when he saw rene' come down the isle and she reacted with equal amount of tears. :)
Following the ceremony we met outside to do photos of the bridal party. We decided to do family photos after the dinner to keep things simple and since the balcony at this location is so beautiful. After dinner and after family photos they had their toast and went on to cut the cake. I always enjoy seeing a couple so much in love as Rene' and J.P. are. They are so into each other and that just makes my job so much easier. :)
After the cake they went outside and did the bouquet and garter toss. J.P. got a little x-rated going for the garter that the DJ had to turn the younglings around. Once that was done they danced their first dance, followed by Rene' and her father, and J.P. and his mother. They then did the money dance and went into regular dancing. What a fun crowd, the dance floor was filled til the end.
We had a great time at this wedding, Rene has so much personality and life and J.P. is so nice. The two together where an amazing pair and we feel blessed to be a witness to their love. We look forward to doing more photos of them and their future family.

Saturday September 20th at the Folsom Convention center put on by Sierra Style Magazine. Here is a small collection of some of the photos I took while walking around.
